A 23-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly shooting his ex-girlfriend in Towson on Tuesday, August 4. The woman is expected to survive the gunshot wound in her upper body.

The man has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a handgun and a loaded handgun, violation of a personal protective order and violations of parole/probation conditions.

He is currently being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
