Gun Lobby Group Appeals MD Bump Stock Ban

The pro-gun group Maryland Shall Issue has appealed the Maryland bump stocks ban to the full Fourth Circuit Court. Last year, Maryland banned bump stocks and other devices that allow firearms to be fired faster. In papers filed to the appeals court last week, Maryland Shall Issue argued that the state now owes gun owners financial compensation for requiring them to surrender these devices.

At the end of last month, the court upheld the ban.
